Question:
Why are there hosts at the house?
Answer:
Hosts are here to greet guests upon arrival, prepare meals, answer any questions and perform walkthrough of house prior to your departure. During private group rental events hosts stay out of your way, and you and your guests are free to enjoy the house.
Question:
Where is the Crafters Dream Retreat located?
Answer:
We are located in Douglasville, Georgia - 30 minutes from Atlanta and 45 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. We do not publish our address for the privacy and security of our guests. We will provide you our address and directions upon receipt of full payment.

Question:
What is the minimum/maximum guests at a retreat?
Answer:
We have six (6) full and queen size beds and craft tables and chairs for 12 people. We will accept female individuals for our open group weekend retreats, and you will be required to share a room with another guest.
We are currently working on finishing the basement and loft area which will have 12 full and queen size beds and crafting space for 14 people.

Question:
Are 6 individuals required (12 coming soon) in my group to schedule a weekend?
Answer:
We accept reservations for groups of any size up to six (6). If you have a group less than six (6) you will be mixed with other ladies. Remember it’s fun to mix and mingle with new people and you just might learn a new technique or make a new friend.
Question:
Can I Stay for only one night?
Answer:
To make it fair for all the guests staying the weekend, we only offer the option of two and three-night stays. We understand weekends are busy for everyone and you are welcome to come and go as you please throughout the weekend.
Question:
What if we want to extend my stay and make it a 4-day retreat?
Answer:
You are welcome to stay an extra night at $110.00 per person with a minimum of 4 guests, and includes dinner, brunch, snacks and beverages. Advance registration of 21 days required for an extended stay, and we will try our best to accommodate requests received less than 21 days.

I need to cancel my weekend retreat; can I get my money back?
Answer:
Cancellations and Refund Policy:

A full refund if reservation is cancelled 60+ days prior to reservation

50% refunds for cancellations 31 - 59 days of reservation
-
No refunds for cancellations less than 30 days of reservation.

Question:
What are the sleeping arrangements?
Answer:

We have three-bedrooms, each room has two queen/full size beds. Extra pillows and blankets are available.

Rooms are reserved on a first come basis

Each guest received a bath towel and washcloth, a bed with sheet set and a blanket. Feel free to bring your favorite blanket / pillow.

When is Check-In/Out?
Answer:
Check-in time is any time after 2:00 p.m. on the day of your scheduled retreat and check-out is 2:00 p.m. on scheduled day of departure.

What’s on the menu?
Answer:
Sample Menu:
Breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fruit, hot/cold cereal, juice
Lunch: Taco bar, salad
Dinner: Baked Chicken, Salmon, broccoli, string beans, rice and dessert
Brunch: waffles/French toast, breakfast casserole, fruit, bacon and sausage

Question:
What do I need to bring?
Answer:
You, your personal crafting material, personal snacks, beverages and items which make you happy! We also suggest warm slippers, comfy sweats and cozy pajamas. Crafters Dream Retreat is all about crafting, relaxing, laughter, dancing, playing games and just having fun. All attendees are same sex so there is no need for makeup and getting dressed up! For those who crawl into bed in the wee hours of the morning, we suggest bringing an eye mask and ear plugs to help you sleep a few hours longer.

Where is the Crop / Craft / Meeting Room?
Answer:
The Crop room is currently on the main floor and will move to the basement of the house within the next couple of months

What else is there to do in the area?
Answer:

There are restaurants, stores & shops within 15 minutes of the house. For your convenience, there is a binder at the house which detail local area.

Question:
Which meals are provided?
Answer:

Question:
Can I bring our own alcoholic beverages?
Answer:
Yes, there are bottle openers and glasses available for your use. We asks all guests to drink responsibly.

Question:
Do we need to clean before we leave?
Answer:
Yes. Prior to departure, remove all sheets, pillowcases and towels - put these items inside pillowcase and place in laundry room bins. Remove all trash from craft room, workstation, bedroom and bathroom. Tie all trash bags and discard in the large containers outside the garage. Place all dishes into dishwasher and start the load.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not allowed

Is there a contact/host on site?
Answer:
There are host(s) who stay on the second floor to prepare meals. Currently only the main floor of the house is accessible during your stay.
Question:
What happens if we accidentally pack up an item belonging to the house?
Answer:
We do an inventory check of the house before you arrive to make sure all the supplies are there for your use. This same inventory checklist is completed after your departure. If we find something is missing, we will notify you, and you will be responsible for paying the shipping to have the item returned to us, and if it can’t be located you will be billed for the missing item

Is Smoking allowed at the Retreat?
Answer:
There is no smoking allowed inside or around the house, in order to respect everyone. A $200.00 cleaning fee will be assessed if smoking occurs within the retreat.

Is there a television?
Answer:
Yes, with Roku, Netflix, Hulu and Disney+.

Can the entire house be rented for a group with no host and food?
Answer:
This option has a limited availability.
